The project:

Ofo engaged with Evolve to lead recruiting for the newly launched North America business. During a six-month appointment, we successfully:

  • Hired the first 100 employees across the operations, marketing, legal, policy and communications teams
  • Hired the North American leadership team
  • Built end-to-end recruiting processes
  • Created a competency-based framework along with an interview question bank and role-related exercises
  • Helped define roles and a prioritization hiring plan
  • Defined, hired and managed a recruiting team of four
  • Built compensation and equity frameworks for each level
  • Helped implement recruiting technology including Lever, Docusign & Classmarker
  • MBA school outreach & the rollout of a ‘bar raiser’ program
